Akropolis Athens

Akropolis (Gr. akros, akron, tepi, lampau + polis, bandar, j. acropoleis; harfiah bandar di tepian; ertinya "bandar tertinggi") merujuk kepada tempat tinggi peninggalan sejarah di Greece. Tempat yang paling terkenal ialah Akropolis Athens, disebabkan dari beberapa bangunan sejarah yang terkenal didirikan di atasnya.
