Bahasa Parsi Kuno adalah satu daripada dua bahasa-bahasa Iran Kuno dibuktikan (selain Avestan). Parsi Kuno banyak muncul terutamanya dalam prasasti, kepingan tanah liat, mohor dalam era pemerintahan Achaemenid (sekitara 600 BCE sehingga 300 BCE). Contoh-contoh Parsi Kuno telah dijumpai di kawasan (kini terletak di dalam wilayah) Iran, Iraq, Turki dan Mesir[1] pembuktikan paling penting setakat ini adalah prasasti Behistun (bertarikh sehingga 525 BCE).
