Donald Duck masuk ke dalam Tentera Darat Amerika Syarikat, dan walaupun memiliki kaki rata, dia lulus pemeriksaan kesihatan.
Donald dipancing untuk menerimanya dengan memberitahu melalui lagu kalau "The army's not the army anymore/it's better than it's ever been before", walaupun dia tahu itu tidak benar.
Dia ditugaskan kepada Sarjan Boris untuk berjuang dengan bor. Setelah menderita ketika berdiri untuk memperhatikan busut semut, Donald berakhir dengan tugas.
