Gliese 581 (disebut /ˈgliːzə/) atau HO Librae merupakan bintang kerdil merah dengan jenis spektrum M3V, terletak sejauh 20.3 tahun cahaya dari Bumi, dalam buruj Libra. Pemerhatian menunjukkan bahawa bintang ini diorbit oleh sekurang-kurangnya empat planet, iaitu Gliese 581 b, c, d, dan e.
Bintang ini mendapat perhatian setelah Gliese 581 c, planet luar suria pertama yang ditemui terletak di dekat zon boleh didiami bintang ini pada April 2007. Pada akhir September 2010, telah diketemukan lagi dua planet yang mengelilingi bintang ini, iaitu Gliese 581 f dan g.
