iPhone ialah telefon pintar yang direkabentuk dan dipasarkan oleh Apple. Peranti ini boleh berfungsi sebagai telefon kamera, pemain multimedia mudah alih, dan klien internet untuk emel dan melayari web. Telefon multimedia ini tidak menggunakan kekunci fizikal tetapi dilengkapi dengan skrin sesentuh dengan kekunci maya.
Apple mengumumkan iPhone pada 9 Januari 2007, selepas berbulan-bulan spekulasi mengenainya. Majalah Time menamakan iPhone sebagai Rekaan Tahun 2007. Versi 3G dikeluarkan pada 11 Julai 2008 dan menyokong ciri GPS berpandu. Pada 17 Mac 2009, Apple mengumumkan versi sistem pengendalian operasi iPhone 3.0, yang kemudian dikeluarkan pada 17 Jun 2009. Versi iPhone 3GS diumumkan pada 8 Jun 2009 dengan pencapaian yang ditingkatkan, kamera dengan resolusi lebih tinggi dan video serta kawalan suara.
iPhone menggunakan sistem operasi yang dikenali sebagai iOS. Model terbaru dikenali dengan iPhone 4 dan mempunyai dua kamera termasuk untuk panggilan video. Ciri lain termasuk CPU yang lebih pantas dan resolusi paparan yang lebih tinggi. Model baru ini dikeluarkan pada 24 Jun 2010.
iPhone di Malaysia[sunting]
iPhone mula dijual di Malaysia pada Mac 2009 dan pengedar iPhone pertama ialah Maxis. Pada Mac 2010, DiGi merupakan pengedar kedua di Malaysia untuk menjual iPhone
