Sumber anggaran jumlah penduduk dan definisi keluasan tanah dikodkan melalui abjad dalam jadual di bawah:-

  • A: Data berkelompok oleh pihak berkuasa perangkaan negara masing-masing (keluasan tanah atau populasi).
  • B: Anggaran kawasan tanah "Demographia" berdasarkan analisis gambar satelit dan peta.
  • C: Anggaran populasi daripada data agensi statistik kebangsaan.
  • D: Populasi dianggarkan berdasarkan anggaran berkelompok PBB.
  • E: Anggaran populasi "Demographia" data kawasan metropolitan oleh pihak berkuasa perangkaan kebangsaan.
  • F: Anggaran jumlah penduduk "Demographia" seperti laporan tempatan yang tidak rasmi.
