Bantuan tembakan
Bantuan tembakan ialah istilah taktik ketenteraan yang digunakan untuk menggambarkan tembakan senjata yang digunakan bagi menyokong pasukan sahabat dengan menyerang, menekan, atau memusnahkan pasukan musuh, kemudahan, atau materiel dalam pertempuran. Ia sering diberikan melalui tembakan tidak langsung, walaupun istilah ini juga boleh digunakan bagi sesetengah bentuk tembakan langsung sokongan.
Jabatan Pertahanan Amerika Syarikat mentakrifkan bantuan tembakan sebagai "tembakan yang secara langsung menyokong pasukan darat, maritim, amfibia, dan operasi khas untuk menyerang pasukan musuh, formasi tempur, dan kemudahan dalam usaha mencapai objektif taktikal dan operasi." [1]
