Canon PowerShot A
Canon PowerShot A merupakan siri kamera digital yang dihasilkan oleh syarikat Canon. Siri-A adalah barisan kamera budget Canon, sungguhpun cirinya berbeza kerana kameranya terdiri dari acu dan petik yang murah sehingga kamera prosumer bernilai tinggi yang berkeupayaan menyaingi siri G utama Canon.
Model[sunting | sunting sumber]
Siri ini bermula sebagai siri A5, yang merupakan barisan kamera acu dan petik amat asas. Siri Axx yang berikutnya menawarkan kawalan insani penuh (bagi kebanyakan model) dalam badan yang agak besar. Kamera Siri A100/200/3xx/4xx merupakan kamera ringkas dengan sedikit kawalan insani. Siri Axx telah bercabang kepada siri A5xx (diganti dengan siri A1xxx ), A6xx, dan A7xx (yang terakhir digantikan dengan siri A2xxx).

Perisian oleh Breezesys menambah keupayaan bergambar jarak jauh melalui komputer menggunakan antaramuka USB pada model Canon PowerShot A awal sehingga sekitar 2006. Model lebih terkini umumnya menyokong bergambar jarak jauh.
Kebanyakan model dari A450 hingga A720 boleh menggunakan ciri-ciri tambahan firmware CHDK seperti merekod fail imej kasar dan menghidupkan pengatup kamera jarak jauh dengan menggunakan kabel USB.
