Divisyen Ke-82 Airborne adalah sebuah divisyen infantri airborne (hantaran udara) dalam Tentera Darat Amerika Syarikat, yang dikhususkan dalam operasi serangan payung terjun kedalam kawasan musuh[1][2] dengan keperluan Jabatan Pertahanan A.S. untuk "bertindak balas terhadap kontinjensi krisis dimana sahaja di dunia dalam masa 18 jam."[3] Berpangkalan di Fort Bragg, Carolina Utara, Divisyen Ke-82 Airborne adalah sebahagian daripada Kor XVIII Airborne. Divisyen Ke-82 Airborne adalah divisyen bergerak Tentera Darat A.S. yang paling strategik.[4] Sesetengah wartawan telah melaporkan bahawa Airborne Ke-82 adalah divisyen infantri ringan terlatih yang terbaik di dunia.[1] Baru-baru ini, Airborne Ke-82 telah menjalankan operasi di Iraq, menasihati dan membantu Angkatan Bersenjata Iraq.[5]

Divisyen ini ditubuhkan, pada awalnya sebagai Divisyen Ke-82, dalam Tentera Nasional pada 15 Ogos 1917, sejurus selepas penyertaan Amerika dalam Perang Dunia I. Ia telah disusun pada 25 Ogos 1917, di Kem Gordon, Georgia dan kemudian berkhidmat dengan cemerlang di Barisan Barat pada bulan-bulan terakhir Perang Dunia I. Sejak anggota-anggota terawalnya datang dari kesemua 48 negeri, divisyen ini memperoleh nama samaran All-American, yang merupakan asas untuk lambang bahu lengan "AA" yang terkenal. Divisyen ini kemudian berkhidmat dalam Perang Dunia II dimana, pada Ogos 1942, ia telah dibentuk semula sebagai divisyen airborne pertama U.S. Army dan berjuang dalam banyak kempen semasa peperangan.
