Hemipenthes ialah genus besar lalat yang tergolong dalam keluarga Bombyliidae (lalat lebah). Terdapat banyak spesies yang dikenalpasti, bertaburan sepanjang Ekozon Holarctic dan Palearctic. Ia merupakan lalat lasak kecil hingga besar dengan panjang badan 5–14 mm. Ia dapat dibezakan daripada genus yang sama (Villa) dengan urat sayapnya.[1]
