Joseph Hill Whedon (/ˈhwiːdən/; lahir 23 Jun 1964) ialah seorang penulis skrip, pengarah, penerbit, penulis buku komik dan komposer Amerika Syarikat. Beliau ialah pengasas Mutant Enemy Productions dan salah seorang pengasas Bellwether Pictures, dan dikenali sebagai pencipta beberapa siri televisyen, termasuk Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1997–2003), Angel (1999–2004), Firefly (2002), Dollhouse (2009–10), dan Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
