Franco-Provençal (Francoprovençal), Arpitan, atau Romand dituturkan oleh etnik Provençal dan jumlahnya kira-kira mencapai lebih dari 113 400 orang, yang tersebar masing-masing di Perancis, Switzerland, dan Itali. Bahasa ini dituturkan di kawasan Lembah Aosta, Piemonte, Provinsi Foggia, Romandy, Savoie, Bresse, Bugey, Dombes, Beaujolais, Dauphiné, Lyonnais, Forez, dan Franche-Comté.
