Sejarah
Freestyle Script pertama dirancang pada tahun 1969 oleh Colin Brignall, dan oleh Martin Wait pada tahun 1981. Versi tebalnya dirancang pada tahun 1986, dan ada versi beberapanya tidak mencukupi dalam beratnya. Jenis huruf mirip Freestyle Script dirancang pada tahun 1993, bernama "VI My Ha Hoa" and "VI My Ha" tetapi karakternya huruf besar. Pada tahun 2003, Freestyle Script ditambah ke Microsoft Word, dan masih berada dengan versi berikutnya seperti Word 2007, Word 2010, Word 2013, Word 2016 and Word 2019;[3][4] dan jenis huruf itu diformat dengan TrueType.
