Helikopter Textron Model 206 JetRanger menggunakan kipas 2 bilah , engin turbin konventional.Helikopter ini dikawal oleh tekanan hidraulik.
Pembangunan
Pada Oktober 1961, pihak tentera Amerika mahukan jenis helikopter pencerapan ringan.12 syarikat mengajukan prototaip .Ini termasuklah Bell , Fairchild-Hiller dan Hughes Tool Co. Bell telah menghantar model Bell 206.Pada 1962 telah mengeluarkan 6 buah untuk diuji oleh pihak tentera. Untuk tujuan awam, Bell 206A, dan 206B dengan 5 tempat duduk telah dikeluarkan, iaitu 2 kerusi d depan dan 3 kerusi di belakang.
