Planet of the Apes adalah francais media fiksyen sains Amerika yang terdiri daripada filem, buku, siri televisyen, komik, dan media lain mengenai dunia di mana manusia dan kera pintar bertempur untuk menakluk. Francais ini berdasarkan novel 1963 pengarang Perancis Pierre Boulle La Planète des singes, diterjemah kepada bahasa Inggeris sebagai Planet of the Apes atau Monkey Planet; atau secara harfiah Bahasa Melayu "Planet Mawas". Adaptasi filemnya pada tahun 1968, Planet of the Apes sanagat diterima ramai, memulai serangkaian sekuel, kaitan, dan karya terbitan.

Michael Avallone menulis novelisasi untuk Beneath the Planet of the Apes pada 1970. Jerry Pournelle, yang kemudiannya menjadi pengarang bersama dalam Lucifer's Hammer dan The Mote in God's Eye, telah menulis novelisasi Escape from the Planet of the Apes. John Jakes, bekas presiden Science Fiction Writers of America, telah menulis Conquest of the Planet of the Apes. David Gerrold, penulis skrip episod "The Trouble with Tribbles" dari siri Star Trek , telah menovelisasikan Battle for the Planet of the Apes. William T. Quick menovelkan Planet of the Apes versi tahun 2001; dia juga menulis dua prekuel novel, dan beberapa kaitan buku lain diterbitkan.
