This is a meta-template used by several templates which advise editors about the variant of the English language used by particular articles.

small – should be passed through to enable small format of message box.
form – should be passed through to allow selection of editnotice or talk page forms.
id – the HTML id.
image – name of file to be used as an icon, without the File: prefix.
variant – the variant of English, which should be a Wikipedia article.
text (optional) – custom text, if required to be different from the default.
