This template inserts an image of the section sign symbol, §, with alternative text. By default, the image is inserted using the following HTML tag: <img alt="Section-sign" src="//upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/8/87/Section_sign_plain.png" ... />, instead of using §.
