Fokus (linguistik)

Templat:Kategori tatabahasa Fokus (singkatan fok) ialah kategori tatabahasa yang menentukan bahagian ayat yang menyumbang maklumat baru, tidak boleh diterbit, atau bezaan.[1] Fokus berkaitan dengan struktur maklumat. Fokus bezaan merujuk khusus kepada pengekodan maklumat yang bertentangan dengan praandaian pecakap.[2][3][4]

Model judul–cerita membezakan antara judul (tema) dan perkara yang dikatakan tentang judul (cerita, rema, atau fokus).[4][5][6]

Kategori tatabahasa ini wujud dalam bahasa-bahasa Dusunik di Sabah.
