Isabella Khair Hadid (/həˈdiːd/; lahir 9 Oktober 1996)[2] juga dikenali sebagai Bella Hadid merupakan seorang model Amerika Syarikat, menandatangani kontrak dengan IMG Models pada 2014. Pada Disember 2016, beliau terpilih menjadi "Model of the Year" di Model.com's Model of the Year 2016 Awards.[3]

Kehidupan dan kerjaya[sunting | sunting sumber]

Hadid dilahirkan dan dibesarkan di Los Angeles, California[4] anak perempuan pemaju hartanah Mohamed Hadid,[5][6] dan bekas model Yolanda Hadid (née Van den Herik). Ibunya berasal dari Belanda, dan bapanya berbangsa Palestin.[7] Beliau mempunyai dua adik kandung iaitu seorang adik perempuan Gigi dan adik lelaki Anwar. Melalui bapanyq Hadid mempunyai dua kakak tiri perempuan, Marielle dan Alana. Selepas ibu bapanya bercerai, ibunya berkahwin dengan penerbit muzik David Foster menjadikan beliau mendapat lima adik-beradik tiri perempuan.[8]

Hadid dan adik-beradiknya dibesarkan di sebuah perkampungan di Santa Barbara dan kemudian berpindah ke Malibu ketika masih di sekolah rendah.[9] Ketika remaja, Hadid adalah seorang ahli penunggang kuda dan bermimpi untuk menghadiri Sukan Olimpik Musim Panas 2016 di Rio de Janeiro tetapi terpaksa berhenti bersaing pada 2013 kerana menghidap Penyakit Lyme.[10][11][12] Tidak mengumumkan yang beliau menderita Lyme sehingga Oktober 2015.[13] Beliau disahkan menghidap penyakit itu bersama dengan ibu dan adik lelakinya pada 2012.[14]

Pada awal musim gugur 2014, Hadid berpindah ke Kota New York dan mulai belajar fotografi di Parsons School of Design, tidak lama sebelum menerima tawaran kontrak dari IMG. Beliau kemudian berhenti sekolah kerana berjaya dalam kerjaya pemmodelan, tetapi tertarik untuk melanjutkan sekolah dan memilih Fotografi Fashion sebagai kerjaya ketika sudah berhenti sebagai model.[15] Hadid juga berjinak-jinak dalam bidang lakonan.[16]
