Breton (Breton: Bretoned, Sebutan Breton: [breˈtɔ̃nɛt]) merupakan sebuah kumpulan etnik Celtic[7][8] yang mendiami kawasan Brittany. Salasilah mereka berasal daripada kumpulan penutur Brittonic yang berhijrah daripada barat daya Great Britain, terutamanya dari Cornwall dan Devon, semasa serbuan Anglo-Saxon ke atas Britain. Mereka berhijrah dalam gelombang bermula pada kurun ke-3 sehingga kurun ke-9 (kebanyakannya antara tahun 450 hingga 600) ke Armorica, yang mana kemudian dinamakan Brittany bersempena dengan nama mereka.[9]
