Randy Shilts (8 Ogos 1951 – 17 Februari 1994) adalah seorang wartawan dan pengarang Amerika. Setelah belajar kewartawanan di University of Oregon, dia mulai bekerja sebagai wartawan bagi kedua-dua The Advocate dan San Francisco Chronicle, serta untuk stesen televisyen San Francisco Bay Area. Pada awal 1980-an, dia terkenal sebagai wartawan gay terbuka pertama untuk San Francisco Chronicle. Buku pertamanya The Mayor of Castro Street: The Life and Times of Harvey Milk adalah biografi aktivis LGBT Harvey Milk.
