Kendrick Kang-Yoh Jeong, MD (Bahasa Korea: 정 강조, Hanja :鄭康祖; lahir 13 Julai 1969) adalah seorang pelakon Amerika, pelawak, penerbit, penulis dan personaliti televisyen serta doktor bertauliah.[1] [2] Beliau pernah muncul dalam Knocked Up (2007), Role Models (2008), Community (2009–2015), siri filem The Hangover (2009-2013), Furry Vengeance (2010), Ride Along 2 (2016), dan Crazy Rich Asians (2018). [3] Beliau juga pencipta sitkom ABC Dr. Ken (2015-2017) yang turut dilakonkan, dikarang dan diterbitkan beliau sebagai penerbit eksekutif.
Jeong adalah doktor berlesen [4] namun berhenti menceburi bidang ini untuk menumpu kepada kerjaya lakonannya.[5] Beliau kini tampil sebagai panelis dalam rancangan pertandingan nyanyian The Masked Singer.

Awal hidup dan pendidikan[sunting | sunting sumber]
Jeong dilahirkan di Detroit, Michigan, dari ibubapanya yang berasal dari Korea Selatan, DK dan Young Jeong. [3] [6] [7] Jeong dibesarkan di Greensboro, North Carolina . [8]
Jeong bersekolah di Walter Hines Page High School, di mana beliau telah mengambil bahagian dalam Quiz Bowl peringkat wilayah, terpilih menjadi ahli Majlis Perwakilan Pelajar, dan bermain biola di orkestra sekolah. Beliau pada tahun 1986 pada usia 16 tahun dan kemudian menerima anugerah Youth of the Year Greensboro atas pencapaiannya. [3]
Jeong mula membuat sesuatu semasa menuntut di Universiti Duke pada tahun kedua . [9] Beliau belajar dalam bidang lakonan dan masih membuat kerja kursus untuk persediaan ke sekolah [3] Beliau lulus dari Duke pada tahun 1990 dan memperoleh MD(Ijazah kedoktoran) di Sekolah Perubatan UNC pada tahun 1995. [4] [10] Pada musim panas, sebelum masuk ke sekolah perubatan, beliau telah mengambil kelas teater di University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
