Glee (musim 5)
Glee musim kelima disiarkan oleh Fox pada 19 April 2013, bersamaan dengan musim keenam.[1] Episod perdananya ditayangkan pada 26 September 2013, bertepatan dengan penayangan musim gugur 2013. Tayangan siri ini diteruskan dan berakhir pada Jun 2014, sama seperti musim pertama. Musim kelima ini juga menandai episod Glee ke-100, iaitu episod ke-12 pada musim ini. Pada 28 Jun 2013, dilaporkan bahawa Amber Riley, Heather Morris, Mark Salling, dan Harry Shum, Jr. tidak akan tampil dalam siri ini sebagai pelakon tetap, namun mereka muncul sebagai bintang tamu, manakala Jacob Artist, Melissa Benoist, Blake Jenner, Alex Newell, dan Becca Tobin menjadi pelakon utama.[2] Musim ini berakhir pada 13 Mei 2014 dengan jumlah 20 episod, lebih pendek dari musim-musim sebelumnya yang memiliki 22 episod. Pemotongan episod ini dilakukan kerana pertimbangan penarafan rancangan yang semakin rendah.[3][4]
Musim ini ialah musim pertama yang tidak menampilkan Cory Monteith sebagai Finn Hudson, yang meninggal dunia sebelum penerbitan musim kelima dimulakan. Dalam sebuah wawancara mengenai kelanjutan Glee setelah kematian Monteith, Ryan Murphy menyatakan bahawa watak Monteith, Finn Hudson, akan meninggal dunia pada episod ketiga. Episod tersebut sekaligus juga menjadi penghargaan bagi Monteith dan wataknya. Siri ini tamat setelah episod ketiga, dan berlanjut setelah berakhirnya musim besbol.[5][6]
