Warcraft: Orcs & Humans is a real-time strategy game, developed and published by Blizzard Entertainment in 1994.[1] The real-time strategy genre had been pioneered by Dune II, but Warcraft (along with Westwood Studios' Command & Conquer) is widely credited for the genre's rise in popularity.

The game is set in the Kingdom of Azeroth, part of the fictional Warcraft universe. The events that take place in this game are known in Warcraft lore as the First War or the Great War.

Kisah

Ahli sihir bangsa manusia bernama Medivh waris sanad keturunan manusia biasa juga penjaga terakhirnya. Medivh dipengaruhi oleh Sargeras, seorang raksaksa purba yang telah lama mati. Akibat kegilaannya pada nafsu dan kuasa, beliau telah menjual dunia Azeroth pada bangsa Orc yang kehausan darah untuk ditukarkan dengan kuasa-kuasa Raksasa itu serta kepatuhan Gerombolan Orc yang tidak berbelah bahagi.

Easter eggs

Individual characters in the game give amusing responses when clicked repeatedly. This easter egg has been maintained by Blizzard in all subsequent strategy games, along with World of Warcraft.
