Maurice Polydore Marie Bernard Maeterlinck[1] (juga dipanggil Comte (Count) Maeterlinck dari 1932;[2] [mo.ʁis ma.tɛʁ.lɛ̃ːk] di Belgium, [mɛ.teʁ.lɛ̃ːk] ialah seorang penulis drama, penyair, dan penulis Belgium Flemish tetapi menulis dalam bahasa Perancis. Beliau dianugerahkan Hadiah Nobel dalam Kesusasteraan pada tahun 1911 "sebagai penghargaan atas kegiatan kesusasteraannya yang banyak-banyak, dan terutama karya-karya dramatisnya, yang dibedakan oleh banyak imajinasi dan keindahan puisi, yang mengungkap, kadang-kadang dengan kedok kisah dongeng, inspirasi yang mendalam, sementara dalam cara misteri mereka merayu kepada perasaan pembaca dan merangsang imaginasi mereka ".
