Bahasa Semelai

Bahasa Semelai ialah loghat yang dituturkan oleh orang Semelai. Orang Semelai ialah puak Melayu Proto (Melayu Orang Asli) yang merupakan salah satu daripada sembilan belas puak orang asli di Malaysia. Orang Semelai tinggal di kawasan yang terletak di antara Segamat (Johor) dan Sungai Pahang.
Bahasa Semelai ialah bahasa Austro-Asia (kini dikenali sebagai bahasa Orang Asli). Justera, orang Semelai amat berbeza dengan orang Melayu Proto yang lain yang bertutur dalam bahasa Austronesia.[1]
