Kerajaan Temasek ialah kerajaan Melayu yang pada ketika ini berpusat di Singapura moden. Sejarah konvensional melihat pendirian kerajaan ini adalah pada tahun 1299[1][2] oleh Sang Nila Utama, seorang putera Melayu Palembang.[Penjelasan diperlukan][3]:37, 88-92[4][5] Pandangan pendirian ini diusulkan dengan pandangan sejarah yang mengatakan bahawa kerajaan ini didirikan pada tahun 1170.[6]

The Malay Annals do not include dates, but tracing the succession of Sang Nila Utama's descendants and dates surrounding events during their reigns suggests the establishment of the new settlement took place in 1299.
