Asia Barat, Barat Asia, Asia Barat Daya atau Barat Daya Asia adalah istilah yang memperincikan bahagian paling barat di benua Asia. Ia bersempadan dengan Timur Tengah - yang mana memperincikan kedudukan geografi dalam hubungan dengan Eropah Barat dan bukannya kedudukan di dalam Asia. Di sebabkan pemikiran Eurosentrisme, pertubuhan antarabangsa seperti Pertubuhan Bangsa Bersatu,[2] menggantikan Timur Tengah dan Timur Dekat dengan istilah Asia Barat. Kawasan ini dan benua Eropah secara kolektifnya dirujuk sebagai Eurasia Barat.

    Meskipun tidak dimasukkan ke dalam sub-kawasan Asia Barat oleh PBB, Iran biasanya termasuk di dalam Asia Barat, dan kadang kala Afghanistan dan Mesir (yang mana memiliki beberapa wilayah di Asia) dimasukkan dalam definasi yang lebih luas bagi "Asia Barat". Diingatkan juga bahawa Afghanistan boleh dianggap Asia Tengah[3][4], Asia Selatan,[5][6][7][8][9][10][11][12][13][14][15][16][17][18] atau Asia Barat.[19]
