George Emil Palade ForMemRS HonFRMS (19 November 1912 - 7 Oktober 2008) ialah ahli biologi sel Romania-Amerika. Diterangkan sebagai "ahli biologi sel yang paling berpengaruh",[1] pada tahun 1974 ia dianugerahkan Hadiah Nobel dalam Fisiologi dan Perubatan bersama dengan Albert Claude dan Christian de Duve. Hadiah itu diberikan bagi inovasi dalam mikroskopi elektron dan pemeringkatan sel yang bersama-sama meletakkan dasar molekul moden biologi sel,[2] Penemuan yang paling ketara ialah ribosom daripada retikulum endoplasma - yang beliau mula terangkan pada tahun 1955.[3][4][5][6]
