Geochelone platynota juga dikenali sebagai Kura-kura bintang Burma ialah spesies terancam, yang berasal dari hutan di Myanmar. Spesies ini hampir pupus di Myanmar, akibat diburu kerana dagingnya, dan masih dieksport ke pasaran China.
