Dewan Undangan Negeri Baru Sarawak terletak di sebelah The Astana di Kuching, Sarawak.
Yasmin Ahmad pengsan secara tiba-tiba ketika mengadakan pertemuan dengan Siti Nurhaliza di Sri Pentas Bandar Utama. Beliau dirawat di Hospital Pakar KPJ Damansara dan meninggal dunia dua hari kemudian.

  • 1 November – Bekas mufti Perlis Mohd Asri Zainul Abidin ditahan kerana mengajar tanpa permit daripada JAIS.[104]
  • 3 November - Tanah runtuh besar-besaran di Selayang, Selangor mengarah penutupan Lebuhraya Kuala Lumpur-Rawang.[105]
  • 4 November - Kelantan menerima "Wang Ehsan" daripada kerajaan pusat hasil pengeluaran minyak di luar pesisir negeri itu mulai tahun depan.[106]
  • 7-23 November - Banjir besar melanda Kelantan, Terengganu dan Pahang. 2 mati dan 5,000 orang telah dipindahkan.
  • 10 November - Presiden China, Hu Jintao melawat Malaysia buat kali pertama.[107]
  • 16 November - Kerusi DUN Kota Siputeh di Kedah diisytiharkan kosong oleh Mahkamah Tinggi.[108]
  • 18 November - Bekas mufti Perlis Dr Mohd Asri Zainul Abidin mengaku tidak bersalah di Timur Mahkamah Rendah Syariah Gombak, Selangor terhadap pertuduhan pengajaran aspek yang berkaitan dengan Islam tanpa pensijilan awal bulan ini.[109]
  • 21 November - Mayat setiausaha politik Anggota Dewan Undangan Negeri Seri Kembangan Ean Yong Hian Wah, Teoh Beng Hock digali semula dari Taman Peringatan Nirvana, Semenyih, Selangor untuk bedah siasat kedua di Hospital Sungai Buloh..[110]
  • 23 November - Perodua Alza, MPV Perodua pertama dilancarkan.[111]
  • 24 November - Mayat setiausaha politik Anggota Dewan Undangan Negeri Seri Kembangan Ean Yong Hian Wah, Teoh Beng Hock disemadikan buat kali kedua, tiga hari selepas mayatnya telah digali semula untuk bedah siasat kedua di Hospital Sungai Buloh.[112]
  • 25 November - Kerajaan negeri Selangor mengeluarkan larangan melarang hamba-hamba-negara awam, pekerja anak syarikat kerajaan negeri dan pelajar di institusi milik kerajaan negeri daripada menghadiri kursus Biro Tata Negara (BTN).[113]
  • 29 November - Satu letupan kuat meletup di restoran mamak di Stulang, berhampiran Johor Bahru, Johor, berpuluh-puluh penduduk yang berhampiran dari tidur mereka. Tiada siapa yang cedera dalam kejadian itu, yang dipercayai berpunca daripada bom yang kuat yang diperbuat daripada bahan letupan plastik.[114]

  • 4 Disember - Ketua Pesuruhjaya Suruhanjaya Pencegahan Rasuah Malaysia (SPRM), Datuk Seri Ahmad Said Hamdan meletak jawatan.[115]
  • 6 Disember - Dua pelajar kejururawatan di sebuah kolej swasta di sini terbunuh dan empat yang lain cedera apabila sebuah kereta terjunam dari tempat letak kereta tingkat tiga kompleks membeli-belah KB Mall dan mendarat di kawasan membeli-belah di Kota Bharu, Kelantan.[116]
  • 9 Disember - Najib Tun Razak dan Perdana Menteri Thailand, Abhisit Vejjajiva melawat Narathiwat di Selatan Thailand.[117]
  • 10 Disember - Bekas Pengurus Besar Lembaga Pelabuhan Klang (PKA) Datin Paduka O.C. Phang mengaku tidak bersalah di Mahkamah Sesyen Klang terhadap tiga pertuduhan pecah amanah berjumlah sebanyak RM254mil atas skandal Zon Perdagangan Bebas Pelabuhan Kelang (PKFZ).[118]
  • 14 Disember - Timbalan Menteri Pelancongan, Datuk Seri Sulaiman Abdul Rahman Abdul Taib meletak jawatan.[119]
  • 14 Disember - Satu letupan gas di Pusat Beli-belah AEON Bandaraya Melaka yang berharga RM288 juta, Jalan Lagenda, di Bachang, Melaka, tidak lama lagi akan dibuka membunuh kontraktor dan mencederakan lebih 20 yang lain, termasuk enam kritikal.[120]
  • 17 Disember - Pingat emas pasukan bola sepak kebangsaan Malaysia menang menamatkan kemarau emas 20 tahun selepas menewaskan Vietnam 1-0 pada 2009 Sukan SEA lelaki bola sepak perlawanan akhir di Vientiane, Laos.[121]
  • 18 Disember - Malaysia berharap untuk membida penganjuran Sukan Asia 2019 di Kuala Lumpur, selepas dua kali gagal.[122]
  • 19 Disember - Dua enjin jet pejuang Tentera Udara Diraja Malaysia (TUDM) F-5E, bernilai 29 juta dolar yang hilang dicuri dari Pangkalan Udara Sungai Besi, Kuala Lumpur.[123]
  • 24 Disember - Dua enjin jet pejuang Tentera Udara Diraja Malaysia (TUDM) F-5E, bernilai 29 juta dolar yang hilang ditemui di Argentina.[124]
  • 26 Disember – Sepuluh penumpang terbunuh dan dua cedera selepas bas dua tingkat Sani Express tergelincir dan melanda pembahagi jalan raya di Km 272.8 Lebuhraya Utara-Selatan ketika menuju utara, kira-kira 8 km dari plaza tol Ipoh Selatan berhampiran Ipoh, Perak.[125]
  • 27 Disember – Mulai 1 Januari 2010, harga minimum rokok ialah RM6.40 untuk pek 20-batang apabila Kementerian Kesihatan menguatkuasakan rokok minimum dan larangan harga promosi melalui Peraturan Kawalan Produk Tembakau (Pindaan) (No.2) 2009.[126]
  • 28 Disember – Penerbit The Herald telah memfailkan saman dan pernyataan tuntutan di Mahkamah Tinggi Kuala Lumpur untuk mendapatkan pengakuan yang sesuai penggunaan "Allah".[127]
  • 31 Disember – Mahkamah Tinggi mengisytiharkan bahawa The Herald boleh menggunakan "Allah" dalam penerbitan mingguan Katoliknya dan bahawa perintah Menteri Dalam Negeri yang melarang penggunaannya adalah haram, batal dan tidak sah.[128]
